On May 30th, and 31st, we have 8 Lung cancer specialists from China Medical Association both from Beijing and Shanghai.

At day 1, we visited the Department of Oncology at Uppsala University Hospital and received a warm welcome by Section chef of Oncology Peter J Asplund, oncologist Magnus Lindskog and Kristina Lamberg, Administrative staff Therese Hedstrand

They gave a Presentation about lung cancer MDT model within hospitals in Sweden, common treatments applied in lung cancer internal medicine; fundamental research and study based on lung cancer aspect

The same day in the afternoon, we participated in the patient case study, led by Dr Magnus Lindskog together with Dr Kristina Lamberg through video conference calls with other local hospitals in Sweden.

Following the second day, the group paid a visit to the newly built Lung Cancer clinic at Karolinska University hospital to learn about Lung Cancer Quality Registry by Chief physician Dr Gunnar Wagenius. Dr. Simon Ekman has shown us some recent studies and research later he gave us a guided tour of their clinical trial unit, the group had a chance to see the new hospital environment.

After the presentations, we had lunch together with them together.

Schedule on May 31 
We arrived at New Karolinska Hospital in the morning and visited the newly built Lung Cancer clinic.
Presentations are held by Chief physician Dr Gunnar Wagenius about Lung cancer department at Karolinska University Hospital and Lung Cancer Quality Registry. Dr. Simon Ekman has shown us some recent studies and research.

After presentations, they lead us to visit Clinical trial unit and see how they work. In the end, Dr Simon Ekman showed us around and had guided tour in the new Hospital environment.
