Below is an example of a pre-structured study abroad course. We also offer tailored programmes.

The Swedish healthcare system is often considered a model for other countries, both because of its excellent outcomes compared to OECD countries and well-developed strategies both for quality assurance and improvement.

The objective of the tour is to give an overview of Sweden’s healthcare system, its structure, governance, financing and service provision. Participants will identify the strengths of the system and how it produces good outcomes but also explore its current challenges. The program will also tie together the healthcare system with Sweden’s welfare system and how theyboth seek to promote good health and care on equal terms for the entire population.

The tour is for groups of students, medical professionals and policymakers looking for a first-hand experience of Sweden’s healthcare system. The program combines lectures and study visits to give participants new insights but also the opportunity to observe first-hand how health and care services are organized and delivered. The group setting will allow participants to discuss and exchange ideas during lectures and study visits throughout the program.

Above example is only meant for inspiration, all courses are tailor made.
