Swedish HealthCare is arraning a welfare, social care and elderly care study tour for two Japanese colleges. The study tour program “Exploring the Swedish welfare system: elderly care & social care” is being held for the faculty and students of Saitama College of Welfare as well as Tokyo College of Welfare. The study tour is being held November 6-11, 2017.
The objective of the two colleges is to gain insight into the social welfare system in Sweden. Specific areas of interest include elderly care, rehabilitation and social care for children and young people. The study tour program will include a combination of lectures and visits to nursing homes, schools and local area institutions in Sweden involved in social and elderly care in the Swedish cities of Malmö, Lund and Vellinge.
